The Blyth Festival Art Gallery - Community Show
The art show opens May 21, 2011 in the Bainton Gallery situated in the Blyth Memorial Hall which is beside the Blyth Festival box office. The Bainton Gallery is open during Blyth Festival box office business hours.
Members of the public are invited to meet the artists and join in the festivities with family and friends at the official Opening Reception on Saturday May 21, 2011 at 6:00 p.m.

Each year between the months of April and October Huron County comes alive with art shows and local exhibitions. Listed below are some local shows where Anne Laviolette has displayed her artwork. Some shows are yearly events. You may use the 'Contact' page to inquire whether Anne will be displaying her artwork at a particular show in the upcoming 2008 season.
March 8 - March 30, 2008
Anne is currently working on some paintings for the 'Huron Shores Art Exhibition' at Lambton Heritage Museum from March 8 to March 30.
October 1 - October 31, 2007
Goderich Co-op Gallery. Anne's new collection named 'A Day at the Ploughing Matches' will be on display at the Goderich Co-Op Art Gallery for the month of October 2007.
When I asked Anne why she choose 'Ploughing Matches' for her latest collection this is what she said: 'I decided to attend this year's ploughing matches with the hope of photographing some colourful, 'moving' subjects, and to learn a little about the art and finesse of the 'turned furrow'. I was not disappointed. I asked Doreen, a lifelong friend, and experienced farmer to accompany me on my journey and we had a thoroughly pleasurable day. I hope these paintings will convey something of this delight, both in watching the skill of the ploughmen/women, their kinship and the enjoyment of the onlookers. I also hope my paintings convey the beauty of Huron County Farm country, and particularly the gracious host farm.'
